| || Who We Serve ||
Independent Living Resource Center, Inc. (ILRC)
provides services and supports to individuals with disabilities
in South-central Kansas. ILRC is a consumer-controlled, cross-disability
agency that works with individuals with all types of disabilities.
ILRC is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 agency.
Any individual with a disability who wants
to maintain or increase their independence is eligible for
services. Services may also be available to the family or friends
of persons with disabilities to help increase the supports
available to the person with disabilities.
Direct services that are provided by ILRC are
available at no cost to persons with disabilities. Some services
have criteria that must be met before receiving services but
the majority of services are provided at no cost.
ILRC is in compliance with the provisions of
the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (PL 93-112) Section 504, Title
VII and Title IX of the Civil Rights Act. This means that no
person shall be excluded from participation, denied any benefits,
or subjected to any form of discrimination due to age, race,
religion, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability
or political affiliation. |
