Our mission: Empowering people with disabilities

Independent Living Resource Center Inc. provides services and support to individuals with disabilities in south-central Kansas. ILRC is a consumer-controlled, cross-disability agency that works with individuals with all types of disabilities. ILRC is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)3 agency.

Independent Living Resource Center is a not-for-profit agency in Wichita, Kansas, that empowers people with disabilities to lead independent lives by providing advocacy, community education and direct services. Services include information and referral, independent living skills training, medical equipment loans, computer training, social and recreation activities, peer support and much more.

ILRC can provide community presentations on many topics related to disability issues.

From its inception in 1984, Independent Living Resource Center has actively worked to address the needs of people with disabilities who live in south-central Kansas.
